Time Deposits  

• Certificates of deposit are issued to individuals, businesses and organizations for $1000.00 thru $99,999.99. Interest rates vary according to length of time funds are invested.  

• Minimum of $500: Grow as You Go - allows additions before maturity in increments of $25 or more  

• CD's over $100,000 with interest rates varying according to length of time funds are invested. Rates are negotiable. Can be invested from 14 days thru 1 year. 

• An IRA is a personal, tax-sheltered retirement plan. It offers a means of accumulating tax deductible deposits in a savings program. Earnings on those deposits also accumulate tax free. Both become taxable when they are distributed. Any individual with an earned income, who is under age 70 ½ is eligible.

• Check Cards – Take the convenience of First State Bank with you wherever you go with our Mastercard check card.  

• Direct Deposit – If timing is an issue, have your check deposited automatically!!!  

• Night Depository – If you are coming our way and we’re already gone for the day, the night depository is available for your convenience.  

• ATM Card – Get a PIN number and then you have money at your fingertips!! We offer ATM services in 3 locations.

• Safe Deposit Box – Boxes are available in all 3 offices.  We would be happy to assist you in the safe-keeping of your most treasured items.  The contents of safe deposit boxes are NOT insured against loss by this financial institution.  For your own protection, you may wish to obtain your own box content insurance from an insurance company of your own choice. 

• Wire Transfers – Need money now?  FSB offers wiring services nationwide.  

• Cashier’s checks – A Cashier’s check is always accepted and much safer than sending cash!  

• Collections - A collection is an item which requires special handling.   

• Fax Services – If you need fax services and no fax machine, we would be glad to help you!  

•  TeleBank – Our 24 hour customer service representative is always on hand to give account balance information, transfer funds or make a loan payment.  He can be reached at 396-BANK!
